Does this guide apply to your appliance?

Match the brand, device type and complete display code. The same code can mean something different on another product family or market; a series name does not confirm every model in that series.

Likely causes

  • Temporary electronic communication glitch or power surge
  • Loose or corroded wiring harness connections between the main and sub PBAs
  • Defective main Printed Board Assembly (PBA)
  • Faulty sub-board or display control panel

What to try

Perform a System Power Reset

Easy
  1. Wait 2 to 3 minutes without pressing any buttons, as the machine may automatically attempt to clear the communication fault and resume normal operation.
  2. If the AC error persists, press the Power button to turn the appliance off.
  3. Unplug the washing machine from the mains electrical wall outlet.
  4. Leave the appliance disconnected for the reset interval specified in its manual. Do not open or touch internal electrical components.
  5. Plug the power cable firmly back into the wall outlet.
  6. Turn the washing machine on, select a wash programme, and press Start to confirm if the cycle begins normally.
  7. If the AC code reappears immediately or mid-cycle, disconnect power and schedule an appointment with an authorised Samsung service centre.

The code returned or the check did not help?

Avoid repeated resets and do not select a replacement part from the code alone. Record the exact code, full model number, when it appeared, and the checks you tried with their results. Share these details with the manufacturer or service technician.

Disconnecting power does not establish that internal components are safe to touch. This guide does not authorize opening electrical components or bypassing safety devices.
