Does this guide apply to your appliance?
Match the brand, device type and complete display code. The same code can mean something different on another product family or market; a series name does not confirm every model in that series.

Likely causes
- Laundry caught between the door glass and rubber door seal causing water leakage
- Damaged, split, or punctured rubber door gasket
- Loose, damaged, or improperly connected water inlet hose
- Excessive detergent dosage causing foam overflow into the lower chassis
- Internal leak from a damaged hose, tub seal, or drain pump
What to try
Inspect Door Seal and Check for Trapped Laundry
Easy- Disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply and turn off the water tap.
- Open the door and verify whether any laundry was trapped between the door glass and the rubber gasket.
- Inspect the entire rubber door seal for any tears, splits, punctures, or foreign objects.
- Clean any debris or lint build-up from the seal with a soft, damp cloth.
- If the seal is torn or damaged, cease using the machine and book a replacement through an authorized service engineer.
Check Water Connections and Drain the Bottom Tray
Moderate- Confirm that the appliance is unplugged from the wall socket and the water tap is closed.
- Inspect the water inlet hose at both the tap connection and the rear valve connection to ensure fittings are hand-tight and undamaged.
- Place absorbent towels on the floor behind and around the base of the machine.
- With a second person assisting, carefully tilt the machine backwards so the front kickboard is roughly 10–15 cm off the floor.
- Hold the appliance tilted for 30–40 seconds to allow accumulated water in the bottom drip tray to empty onto the towels.
- Lower the machine back to a level position, restore water and electrical power, and run a short test cycle.
- If water reappears or code C3 persists, power off the machine immediately and contact an authorized technician for internal leak repair.
This step is marked caution. Stop if you are not qualified to continue.
